Have you spent hours on the
internet, trawling for suitable flights, only to find they aren’t
available when you finally decide what you want? Have you found
that flights more than a year in advance are simply not available
on the internet so you can have no idea of the flight availability
or the potential cost?
Then why not let us
help to take all the stress out of booking your flights?
Whether or not you book your dream vacation
at our beautiful home we are happy to help you find just the right
flights for you. We work closely with
an agent who has a special relationship with Virgin, and who can
access flights many months before they become generally available. This enables you to choose
the flight which suits you, ahead of anyone else, so that you
can be sure of your seats and your timing.
Flights can often be held
for 24 hours while you finalise your villa booking, to make things
stress free. |

There
are several options:
1. Scheduled non-stop
flights from one of the major British airports –
London Heathrow, London Gatwick, and Manchester. These include BA
and Virgin. With the scheduled airlines you can book any number
of nights – not just one or two weeks, so this offers great
flexibility. Not only do you get in-flight meals and a generous
baggage allowance (which you don’t have to pay for), you can
also benefit from a variety of cabin classes.
2. Scheduled indirect
flights from one of the major British airports to Orlando
International Airport via such hubs as Newark, New York, Charlotte,
Philadelphia, Atlanta, Washington etc – American Airlines,
United Airlines, Delta/North West, US Airways, Continental, Air
Canada etc. Any number of days can be booked, offering great flexibility.
3. Charter flights
direct from London Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham, East Midlands,
Glasgow, Newcastle to Sanford International Airport rather than
Orlando International Airport. The charter airlines normally cut
back on flights during the autumn and winter, so availability may
be more limited. They normally only fly on certain days, often Thurs,
Fri and Saturday, and can only accommodate 7 or 14 night holidays.
Direct Flights
These are either scheduled BA or Virgin, or Charter (Thomson, Thomas
Cook, Monarch, BMI etc) A direct flight takes you straight
to either Orlando International Airport (BA or Virgin), or Sanford
International Airport (charter airlines), which is a small airport
specifically designed for the British charter airlines.
Indirect Flights
If you don’t mind changing planes then you have a whole range
of options from the American carriers, many of whom fly out of London
Heathrow, London Gatwick, Manchester, or Glasgow. Your flight across
the Atlantic will land first at one of the American hubs, where
you will go through Immigration, collect your luggage, go through
customs before giving back your luggage and boarding an internal
flight. The advantage of this sort of flight is that you may have
enough time between flights to stretch your legs, and have a meal
or snack. Then when you land in Orlando you simply walk off the
‘plane, collect your luggage and go as you will already have
completed all the formalities before you reach Orlando. Whilst this
is a great option, it is not so comfortable if you have young children.
