And
if you want a real break from all the hard work, then we can
recommend some wonderful places to eat on Christmas Day –
no shopping and no cooking or clearing up, so EVERYONE, including
Mum, gets a chance to relax. You can even leave the booking
to us, so all you have to do on Christmas morning is open
your presents, put on your glad rags, and follow our directions
to your chosen venue.
Disney, that
most magical place, is even more magical and breathtaking
at Christmas.
We are on hand in the months and weeks leading up to your
Christmas Escape to advise you on the best things to do and
see at this very merry season.
Where
do we start?
Well, of course
what Christmas would be complete without a visit to Magic
Kingdom where the wonderful firework display takes place every
night against the backdrop of Cinderella’s Castle.
The sky is
filled with music and light – huge bursts of shimmering
stars explode into the dark sky, lighting up the faces of
mesmerised children….and adults.
Or maybe Epcot
is your choice, with its fantastic laser and firework show,
including an extra special finale. Or perhaps you would like
to wrap up warm and visit Gaylord Palms for their spectacular
‘ICE’ exhibition? Here you can walk through a
winter wonderland of huge three dimensional ice sculptures.
Hand carved from nearly two million tons of ice, it is an
experience to match no other – you will even end up
with rosy cheeks! But don’t worry about being cold,
they provide warm coats for you to wear.
You cannot
miss the Osbourne Family Lights at MGM – and now they
dance, too!
The shops and
malls are exquisitely decorated, Father Christmas can be found
in sparkling grottos, and there are endless goodies to tempt
you to buy – don’t bother bringing your Christmas
presents with you, come early enough and shop for all the
bargains when you get there. |
